This is a piece I made in 2007. I have been selling the pieces from this wall ever since. There are still approximately 30 left. At the time, in 2007, I made the work to honor an historic house that was torn down in my neighborhood while I was away. I was compelled to do something with the scrapes of useless debirs found in the dirt. As a way to give back, half of the proceeds went to an AIDS orphanage in Kenya started by a friend who also lived in the neighborhood. During THIS sale, in 2018 half of the proceeds will go to Human Rights Watch. You can read about their work here. https://www.hrw.org/ All donations are doubled until June 30, 2018, So 250
